Teaching
I am currently teaching in the Department of Computer Science at Florida Southern College (Lakeland, FL). Courses taught include Intro to C Programming, Computer Science I, Computer Science II, Problem Solving I, Problem Solving II, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Competitive Programming, Algorithm Design & Analysis, Computer Networks, Business Applications of Computer Science, Discrete Mathematics, Internet Application Programming, Internet Technology, and Advanced Database Systems (PhD Seminar course).
From 2010 to 2012, I was teaching in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. As seen below, the first three terms were spent teaching Computer Science I (COP 3502), which focuses on Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis. Enrollment for the Fall semester was right at 230 students, while the Spring semester was upwards of 250 students. Even in this large setting, we were able to create an atmosphere where students were comfortable asking questions, giving feedback, and interacting with the instructor. A sample lecture, which was recorded during the summer session (enrollment of around 130), is available in the links on the left side.
